reading up on the few entries i wrote before i joined the army its crazy to me how things actually turned out. in november of 07 i said that a year from then id probably be far away from home with him. well one things for sure in november of 08 i was far away from home in Ft.Jackson South Carolina but i was not with him. i didnt choose to run off and be someones little woman. i never planned on it, though it sounded that way. dont get me wrong me and him are still going strong after 3 years. in october 08 i went to basic training and then went on to train to be a helicopter mechanic in the ARMY. as far as all the traveling i said id do in my life, i started that too. right now i type to you from Anjun ri, South Korea, good ole camp humphreys. i arrived here in august of this year and its great. i love it, although the weather sucks theres no inbetween summer and winter. but the mountains and the people and the food, i couldnt ask for a better place right now. ive drank away my sorrows as a soldier and drank to great news on other days. i love my job i love my man and i love korea. i miss my parents, my cat and DRIVING. unfortunately we cannot drive here because privates do stupid shit. but when i get back to the states watch out im coming. me and my prelude. i havent the time to practice the things i love the most. as you can see i havent been on for the past year. my photography isnt as good as id want it to be, i havent written in ages and its hard to have a project car when you move around so much. as far as goals id like to improve all of the above. as soon i return to the states id like to deploy and get the chance to say ive gone to war, serve my time. id like to get get married. and most importantly id like to build my prelude. yes im serious thats the most important thing. hopefully when i look back at this one ill feel like i felt about these old ones. ive succeeded.
